tried some other tools like virtual earth mobile or map4pda 1.4.5 (business search won't work) or google maps mobile (I found it too slow with crappy fonts on the htc wizard and couldn't make it work with t-mobile tzones proxy)
then I had no luck with google maps standard (javascript website). I think a qvga screen is tool small. but I guess this website could be optimized to work decently with opera.
this : http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=410684 gave me the hint about google maps html, but still there was too much scrolling involved so I added skweezer on top ... now I'd wish that the map picture would be at the top of the page instead of the bottom ...
2 niceties :
- to gain screen space you can hide the scrollbars with multiie and scroll with the stylus
- to scroll vertically with the volume buttons you can use smartskeys _________________ My HTC Wizard
